Product Setup & Care
Important Product Information
Our designer hoses and hangers are made with love (and a touch of magic). They may have tiny imperfections, these little quirks don’t affect performance—unless something’s seriously out of whack, like a hose that refuses to hold water. Then, we’ve got a problem.
Tips for Optimal Use
To give your hose the royal treatment, follow these tips:
- Prepare Your Hose – Before you unleash the magic, unravel the hose completely and lay it flat to undo those factory twists. This ensures smooth water flow.
- Flush Out Residue – Attach your fittings (not included, but hey, you're on your own here) and run some water through to clear any leftover production debris. Think of it as your hose’s spa day.
- Proper Storage – When rolling up the hose, don't treat it like a pretzel. A gentle, kink-free roll will keep it in tip-top shape.
- Kink-Free Design – Our hose is like the hero of your garden—super thick and able to defeat annoying kinks. It has a kink rating of 10, which means it’s tough and ready to roll.
- Release Water Pressure – Drain your hose completely before storing it. Think of it as giving your hose a well-deserved break after a hard day of work.
To prevent splitting & bubbling, maximum heat & water temperature is 45 degrees.
Caring for Your Hose Hanger
Your metal hose hanger will naturally get a little rusty over time, but if you want to slow that process down, here are a couple of tips:
- Rust Guard – Apply a rust guard spray (we trust a certain one, but you can find it yourself by clicking here).
- Storage – If you want to protect it from the elements, consider giving it a cozy, sheltered spot to live.
- Important Note – Rust happens. It's natural. And it's not covered by warranty. Think of it as your hose hanger becoming beautifully vintage.
Mounting Instructions
For secure mounting, use two wall plugs and two screws (not included, but you’re crafty, right?). If you're a renter or just don’t feel like drilling holes, hang the hose on a tap or hook using the middle section of the hanger. Easy peasy.
